Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Bridgette Latorre, 39, of Lake Peekskill, was in possession of concentrated cannabis, MDMA (Ecstasy) and a counterfeit bill of U.S. currency, NEU members say.
Latorre was arrested and charged with the following:
- Seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor (two counts)
- Third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor
Latorre is scheduled to appear in the Town of Putnam Valley Justice Court on a future date.
